IIREES operates on a five-pillar academic model. The key objective of our first pillar is to organize hybrid lecture series, workshops, and student outreach programs on various scientific and socially relevant agendas. The vision of the program is to inspire younger generation towards geoscience research by enabling critical thinking, sharing the latest scientific developments, popularizing science, and building a vibrant science-minded community. Our second, third, and fourth pillars are designed to provide basic-level, advanced-level, and skill development courses. The main objective of these courses are to provide a thorough understanding of the scientific purpose of the topic and its applications in scientific research and/or industry. The fifth pillar of IIREES is designed to provide research internship opportunities to the student community. A registered student can work directly with our scientists/ mentors and have the opportunity to work on remote sensing data, laboratory data, computer modelling, geological fields, and other sources of data. IIREES will provide necessary research support during the project period, and help the student to write research papers, conference abstracts, popular research articles, etc.
